Tall case brass dial clock, ca. 1760.

Pine tall-case clock. The hood has a compound molded flat pediment with a molded arch above the door and a glazed door with an astragal top. Waist with ogee and ovolo moldings at the top and a case door with a molded edge and an astragal top. Base with ogee molding at the top and cove molding at the bottom. Composite brass dial with applied chapter ring with roman hour numerals, applied cast ornament in the spandrels and lunette, and a name boss engraved "Daniel Balch Fecit 2" in the lunette. Inside the chapter ring there is a calendar aperture. There are engraved crosses between the hour gradations. Eight day movement.
